Brief description

Roaches Concrete Production is a commercial concrete business that is involved with construction, mainly for the rural sector. We design and build all construction needs of the dairying industry from cowsheds to feed pads, underpasses, herd barns and any other concrete requirements. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, excellent customer service and excellent finish on all jobs.

We have a variety of projects coming up and need to expand our team.

We are looking for qualified carpenters and apprentices to join our team that have an interest in construction with concrete.

We offer a competitive hourly rate based on skills and experience.

Indicative Tasks

• Sub grading metal or fill
• Tying steel
• Laying mesh
• Tying reinforcing
• Boxing panels
• Laying concrete
• Vibrating concrete
• Screeding concrete
• Tying down loads
• Driving vehicles
• Using inside crane to lift and move panels.
• Use all equipment and machinery in yard and on job site.
• Reading plans
• Laying drains and pipe
• Following instructions
• Forming moulds
• Cleaning of equipment
• Cleaning of yard
• Welding

Skills and Experience

• Full drivers licence.
• Reliability.
• Attention to detail and adaptability to get along within a team.
